Ujjwal Das Expelled from BJP for Six Years Over Alleged Anti-Party Posts on Social Media

Ujjwal Das, Mandal President of the Scheduled Caste Morcha in the BJP’s Kamalpur Mandal, has been expelled from the Bharatiya Janata Party for six years over allegations of spreading misinformation about the party on social media. The decision was announced in a press release issued by the party.

According to the press release, Das had been warned several times over alleged violations of party discipline. However, despite repeated warnings, he allegedly failed to mend his ways and continued to make posts on social media against the party. The party stated that his expulsion for six years was decided in the interest of maintaining organisational discipline.
