Two Injured in Head-On Collision on NH-8 in Bir Chandra Manu
Two people were seriously injured in a road accident near Hothat Bazar in the Bir Chandra Manu area of Shantirbazar subdivision on National Highway-8 on Friday afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred at around 4:15 pm when a Tata vehicle bearing registration number AS 01 FC 9217 collided head-on with an Alto car bearing registration number TR 03 R 1634. The impact was so severe that both vehicles were badly mangled.
Following the collision, local residents and police personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. They were subsequently shifted to Garji Hospital for medical treatment.
Police reached the scene after receiving information, brought the situation under control and restored normal traffic movement along the highway. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
