The accident occurred at around 6 pm. Women, children and an elderly woman were among the injured. The condition of the auto-rickshaw driver was reported to be critical, and he was referred to Gomati District Hospital for advanced treatment.

Doctors at the health centre provided initial medical attention to the injured. However, considering the driver's deteriorating condition, he was referred to Gomati District Hospital for advanced treatment. The other injured persons are also undergoing medical care.
The accident has once again brought attention to the issue of stray domestic animals roaming freely on roads. Such incidents not only disrupt traffic movement but also pose serious risks to the lives of motorists and passengers. The incident has raised questions about the responsibility of livestock owners, with demands for stricter monitoring and necessary preventive measures by the administration to avoid similar accidents.
