Chhatra Bandhu Social Organisation to Celebrate 15th Kali Puja in Santirbazar with Rs 12 Lakh Budget

Chhatra Bandhu Social Organisation is all set to celebrate its 15th Kali Puja in Santirbazar with grand arrangements and an estimated budget of Rs 12 lakh.

As in previous years, the organisation has planned an elaborate celebration. The ceremonial inauguration will take place on Saturday evening, followed by the commencement of Kali Puja the next day. The immersion of the idol is scheduled for November 12.

This year's pandal has been designed around an imaginative theme, using natural materials to create a distinctive ambience. Apart from the religious celebrations, the organisation has also planned a series of social welfare initiatives as part of its annual programme.

As part of these initiatives, clothes will be distributed among 40 to 50 workers from the local market. A blood donation camp will also be organised. The organisation will extend financial assistance for the marriages of underprivileged girls and distribute books and notebooks among meritorious students to support their education.

According to the organisation, such social welfare activities have been an integral part of its Kali Puja celebrations every year. The members have extended a warm invitation to everyone to visit the puja pandal and participate in the celebrations.
