‘Chakravyuh’ to Be the Main Attraction at Dharmanagar Kali Puja; CM to Inaugurate

Preparations for Kali Puja have begun in Dharmanagar following the conclusion of the Durga Puja festivities. This year, the Athletic Club, located near DNV School, is organising its celebrations around the theme of ‘Chakravyuh’, inspired by a historic episode from the Mahabharata. The organisers shared details of the preparations and special attractions at a press conference on Wednesday.

The organisers said the puja pandal would be designed on the concept of the ‘Chakravyuh’, a famous battle formation associated with the valour and heroic tales of the Mahabharata. They expect the theme-based pandal to emerge as one of the major attractions for visitors.

Apart from the distinctive theme, the organisers have planned several entertainment facilities, including a giant wheel, to make the celebrations more enjoyable for visitors. An elaborate and eye-catching lighting arrangement will also be a major feature of the puja.

The organisers further announced that Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will inaugurate this year's Kali Puja. With its Mahabharata-inspired theme, decorative lighting and entertainment arrangements, the Athletic Club is preparing to make the festival a major attraction for residents and visitors in Dharmanagar.
