The Nabodiganta Kali Puja Committee of Santirbazar is preparing to celebrate Kali Puja with great enthusiasm and grandeur this year, continuing its annual tradition. The four-day festival will feature a special 3D projection show as its main attraction. According to the organisers, this will be the first initiative of its kind in South Tripura district.
The committee said the special 3D projection show would be presented during the first three days of the festival. Artists arriving from Delhi will showcase several spectacular sequences, including the fierce dance of Goddess Kali and the Tandava of Lord Shiva. The organisers expect the innovative presentation to draw considerable attention from visitors.
On the day of the puja, floral offerings will continue throughout the night. Arrangements have also been made to distribute prasad among visitors. A grand carnival will mark the concluding phase of the celebrations on the 12th, and the committee has invited everyone to attend.
The total budget for this year's Nabodiganta Kali Puja has been fixed at Rs 18 lakh. Alongside the festivities, the committee is also planning to organise a blood donation camp after Dashami, continuing its annual social welfare initiative. The organisers said they aim to combine the spirit of celebration with community service.
